Sports Lab will maximize the performance of every athlete regardless of age or genetic gifts. This revolutionary training method, the Neuromuscular Connection, is the unique product of four decades of diligent research by Marv Marinovich, renowned spots enhancement enthusiast.
Marv Marinovich
Marv Marinovich, nationally renowned sports enhancement specialist, was captain of the 1962 undefeated national championship USC Trojan team, offensive lineman for the Oakland Raiders, a member of the Oakland Raider coaching staff in Super Bowl II. Later as Raiders coach, NFL conditioning coach, and player evaluation consultant, Marv was responsible for testing thousands of highly skilled football players. Through his 45 years of athletic discovery, Marv continued to expand his revolutionary techniques by evaluating and training elite athletes representing all the major sports and by determining the specific qualities and relationships which define athletic excellence.
Marv's diligent research and his reputation for the pursuit of athletic excellence have allowed him to continuously glean the most current scientific information available. His training methods have continually evolved and are the dynamic, cutting edge techniques in demand by thousands of elite athletes. He is widely regarded as an expert in his field as he prepares professional athletes for their respective drafts. Most recently, he successfully prepared Tyson Chandler (#2 overall pick of the 2001 NBA draft) and Troy Polamalu (#16 overall pick of the 2003 NFL draft). Marv resides in Orange County where he maintains his athletic training center, SportsLab. He is the proud father of three children: Traci, Todd, and Mikhail, and three grandchildren: Katie, Phillip, and Elizabeth.
Gavin MacMillan
Gavin MacMillan excelled in athletics all his life, lettering in six varsity sports while in high school in Toronto, Canada: baseball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, tennis and hockey. He was successful at the highest amateur level in hockey, baseball and basketball. Gavin continued his athletics, playing collegiate tennis at San Jose State, where he graduated with honors, earning a BS in economics.
As a professional tennis player and later as the biomechanics specialist for SportsLab, Gavin has refined his knowledge of the strategic features relevant to sports performance mastery. States SportsLab founder Marv Marinovich, “Gavin has a genius ability to immediately analyze, enhance, and perfect the athletic movements and efficiency essential for every sport.
